Firm

Built for matters that cross courts, boardrooms and borders

MHSK & Partners is a firm of advocates, corporate and policy consultants based in Islamabad. We advise individuals, families, overseas Pakistanis, enterprises and institutions through a coordinated network of specialist counsel and strategic partners.

Who we are

One practice. Three disciplines. A single standard of counsel.

Our work brings together litigation, corporate advisory and public policy. That structure allows a dispute to be understood commercially, a transaction to be tested against enforcement risk, and a policy question to be assessed against the constitutional and regulatory framework in which it must operate.

The firm serves clients in Pakistan and provides comprehensive cross-border advisory, transactional non-contentious services, mediations, and arbitrations across The United States, The United Kingdom, Canada, and The United Arab Emirates. Where a matter requires expertise outside our own docket, we say so plainly and connect the client with appropriate specialist counsel.

What we stand for

Standards that govern every engagement

01

Candour

Clients receive a clear assessment of legal position, evidential gaps, commercial risk and realistic options. We do not manufacture certainty where the law or facts do not permit it.

02

Precision

Every opinion, filing and agreement is grounded in the applicable statute, forum, record and procedural timetable. Detail is treated as a strategic requirement.

03

Commercial judgment

The technically available course is not always the sensible one. Advice is framed around cost, time, enforceability, reputation and the outcome the client actually needs.

04

Integrity

Professional independence, confidentiality and duties to the court and client are not marketing language. They define how instructions are accepted, prepared and conducted.

How we work

A disciplined route from first instruction to resolution

  1. Define the objective. We identify the legal and commercial result the client is seeking before proposing a route.
  2. Test the record.Documents, chronology, jurisdiction, limitation and evidential weaknesses are reviewed at the outset.
  3. Set the strategy.Advice distinguishes immediate protection, negotiated resolution, regulatory action and formal proceedings.
  4. Confirm scope.Responsibilities, communication, cost structure and the next decision point are recorded in writing.
  5. Coordinate execution. The firm and its specialist network manage filings, negotiations and cross border work through one accountable point of contact.

Evidence before assertion

Judge the firm by the work it undertakes

Our published portfolio records representative litigation, transactions, regulatory work and advisory mandates without presenting prior results as a promise of future outcomes.
